Just over a year ago, award-winning designer Roxanne Mapp began
brainstorming ideas on how to expand on her talents as an award-winning Graphic Designer. Having worked for top Advertising Agencies for several years,
Roxanne felt the need to create a line of unique t-shirts that symbolized some of the beautiful natural and cultural elements from her native island of Trinidad and Tobago, and the Caribbean, in general.

Roxanne came up with the name “My Specialtee”and immediately registered
it as a small business and started designing her unique line of t-shirts.
Everything from islands’ beautiful palm trees and glorious humming birds to the melodious steel pan (a musical instrument that originated in Trinidad and Tobago) are illustrated and designed into brightly colored pieces of art on her t-shirts.

My Specialtee also offers Graphic Design and Photography Services.

My Specialtee hopes to make its online presence known by spreading the word about the beauty of the islands. My Specialtee also accepts custom orders and has successfully completed assignments for customers. Roxanne holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, and is attending Pratt Institue to pursue her Master's Degree in Library Science.
